Ground Up Project 1st Café Officially Opens Its Doors to the Public
At The Ground Up Project, we are excited to announce the launch of our very first café: Ground Up Café at Theatre Porto in Ellesmere Port!
On Thursday, November 21st, we officially opened our doors and welcomed guests for a warm, community-led celebration. There was plenty of coffee, cake, and conversation as we shared our story, vision, and mission to create meaningful job opportunities for young neurodivergent individuals.
Guests had the chance to hear from our founder Sally, who spoke passionately about how The Ground Up Project and the Ground Up Cafe will support learners to build confidence, learn new skills, and take real steps towards employment. And, best of all, our very first learners were on shift, proudly serving up drinks, showing just how much potential they have to offer, and networking with members of the community.
Ground Up Café is open to the public and makes a perfect spot for a quick coffee, or even your next meeting.
Follow us along on our socials for updates, behind-the-scenes content, and learner stories. And if you happen to be nearby, maybe at Cheshire Oaks doing some shopping, come say hi!
